American singer and songwriter Taylor Swift won the award in the Video of the Year category, while Billie Eilish won the Song of the Year award for ‘Happier than Ever. After receiving the award, Taylor announced her new album ‘Midnights’ will release on October 21.
In addition, Harry Styles won the MTV Video Music Award in Album of the Year and Best Pop categories. On the other hand, Nicki Minaj bagged the Best Hip-hop award for her song ‘Do we have a problem’ featuring Lil Baby.
Furthermore, K-pop sensation Blackpink made its debut performance at the Awards. Blackpink gave a sizzling performance by emerging from pink smoke to perform their latest single Pink Venom.
