J-Hope, one of the member of popular boy band from South Korea, BTS, has recently joined the nation’s army. New pictures of the singer from the army has been going viral on the internet. One of the fans of the BTS, took to Twitter, to share pictures of J-Hope in army uniform. The pictures show J-Hope holding gun with his fellow mates in one picture, while another image shows him having his meal. These photos emerged on social media a week after he started his military service in South Korea.
J-Hope posed for the camera as he was sitting at the table with his meal. In another picture, he can also be seen making a heart with his fingers, as he poses for the camera along with other soldiers. Sharing the picture, the fan revealed that ‘Hobi’ had his 1st course of combat skills, & firearms training about how to handle a gun. It was also confirmed that the pictures were reviewed and approved by the commander at the 23rd-5th cafe Camp Shinkyo University. Another fans suggested that pictures of the singer has been released by the 36th Infantry Division of the military.
Reacting to the pictures, fans of the BTS, who prefer to call themselves BTS ARMY, have expressed their love and care for their beloved star. The reactions were also filled with pride towards J-Hope. One of the Twitterati commented, “We love and miss our dearest Hobi so much!!” while another fans asked him to “take care and stay healthy.” The singer was also called “sunshine” by one of the fans. The first pictures of J-Hope emerged online last week, and ever since the fans have been excited for more updates from his military service.
J-Hope joined the South Korean boot camp to commence his mandatory military services for at least 18 months. Reports have suggested that the rapper has been stationed in Wonju, where he is undergoing his military training, which located 90 kilometers to the east of Seoul. He is the second member from the boy band to join the army. The oldest member of the band, Jin, joined the army in December, which made the first member to enter the army.
For the unversed, there was a heated argument last year in media when special considerations were made by allowing Jin to postpone his mandatory military service. It was announced by group’s management agency BigHit music that all seven members will fulfilling their duties. Other five members – Jimin, Suga, V, RM, and Jungkook – are yet to join the South Korean army. It is expected that the world’s biggest boy group will reunify a few years later.
Earlier, video of Jin performing at army’s talent show surfaced online. It was also reported that he had choreographed his team, which helped them win the competition. As an reward, the whole were given an extra day of vacation.
