Flights ground across west central Africa due to a strike

The Association of Air Traffic Controller’s Unions (USYCAA) “has started a national strike quite apart from the banning of the protest by all the judiciary,” the Agency for Aerial Navigation Safety in Africa and Madagascar stated on the 23rd of September 2022.

Confirmed Ebola cases in Uganda, 11 dead

Four confirmed cases of Ebola have been recorded in the last 24 hours. The cumulative number is now 11 in Uganda, as per the health ministry of the country. Now, the health ministry is considering โ€˜probableโ€™ cases as any person who died from the same suspected EVD (Ebola), having an epidemiological link to a confirmed case that was probably not tested and never had any lab confirmations. โ€˜Confirmed casesโ€™ are those only which got positive lab confirmations.ย
