“Gehraiyaan“ is scheduled to be released on 11 February 2022, which is tomorrow. It is a Hindi romantic drama movie. Directed by Shakun Batra, the writers of this movie are Sumit Roy, Ayesha Devitre, and Yash Sahai, apart from Shakun Batra.
It is a joint project under Dharma Productions, Jouska Movies, and Viacom18 Studios. The joint producers of this movie are Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shakun Batra. Mark your calendars as the film is all set to be released on the OTT platform– Amazon Prime Video.
This movie has an all-star cast. We have Deepika Padukone as Alisha Khanna, Siddhant Chaturvedi as Zain Siddiqui, who is Tia’s fiancé, Ananya Panday as Tia Khanna, who is Alisha’s cousin, Dhairya Karwa as Karan Arora who is Alisha’s boyfriend, Naseeruddin Shah as Mr.Khanna who is Alisha’s father and Rajat Kapoor as Sameer who is Zain’s father.
The movie revolves around the 30-year-old Alisha Khanna, who finds her life in turmoil. Not only was her career hitting the rocks, but her six-year-old monotonous relationship seemed to be dragging itself.
Just when she was trying to make peace with her fate, her cousin, Tia, along with her fiancé, Zain, came into the picture of her life. Soon, Alisha finds her comfort in Zain. They bonded over their distressed past and discovered their shared wish to break from its shackles.
The movie explores the grey areas of the past, which are pretty unavoidable even if one embarks on the path of ignorance. The film takes you on a journey that explores the intricacies within the “modern-day relationships.”
This movie has already become the talk of the town because of its impressive music lineup. The film’s original score and the film’s music are composed by the independent musical duo- Kabeer Kathpalia (OAFF) and Savera Mehta. This is their mainstream film debut.
