The aesthetically pleasing snow-hampered valleys of Kashmir make it to be affirmed as the Switzerland of India. In the chaos that lies around the name Kashmir, there is an aesthetic factor that adds up to its most exquisite features which are the calm and unexplored south valleys of it.
Location of Chatpal
Lying around 90 km away from the capital Srinagar, the unscathed town of Chatpal in the emerald valley is one of the purest and calmest sights Kashmir has, being the untouched and harmless valley, it justifies why Kashmir is called “the heaven on earth”
Defining Chatpal Heaven for travellers
Chatpal can be defined as every word synonymous with peace, it is one of the most beautiful, serene, and calm places a tourist can travel to. Chatpal offers the relief that one’s home offers it, away from the chaotic, globalizing, and fast-moving world.
It is one of the rarest travelled places by tourists and hence is unspoiled, nature is the most proximate to the one who travels, and that sight cannot be forgotten once captured in the calmest box of memories.
The dreamy green valley, the white stream with the sunlight striking it, and the sparkling reflection of the cleanest water sources make one crave more and please the soul thoroughly.
The calming aromas of apples and walnuts from the very own large estates around satisfied the smelling sense, while the unrealistically pleasing natural aura fascinates the sight. The voices of birds, leaf waves, and flowing streams console the chaos in the brain.
Chatpal is a place that can indirectly activate each sense of our existence. Moreover, being in heaven while on earth is practically possible just by the existence of such a serene place.
The place, however, has very less places to explore as such, but being a calming beauty, it offers the most basic yet soulful activities around it. Starting from long walks with nature, to stargazing it offers numerous aesthetic activities, not every place fulfils. Enjoying the hot served traditional food in such cold weather is again an experience worth remembering. Having the local tea(chai) with the residents of that place is a rare experience not everyone gets to own in a lifetime. The residents of Chatpal live the most basic and serene lifestyle, varying from living most traditionally, living without electricity to adapting to the most feasible undamaging technologies in their lives.
Nature’s true beauty is best felt here if traveling between April and June with the most pleasant weather to explore the natural world.
The place is 3 hours away from the beautiful well-known tourist spot and the capital of Kashmir Srinagar yet was untraveled by tourists. Now it is recognized as a public tourist place by the government of India. However, it is little known to the masses which is why it is still a safe, untouched, and raw part of the beautiful existence of heaven on earth.
Life In Chatpal
Life in Chatpal is not modernized enough to run on electric luxuries, yet the people here would offer you the warmest and most heartfelt welcome and give you a sense of homecoming. Chatpal lies the best if you want to enjoy a home away from home in a peaceful environment away from the rush and chaos modern life is filled with, with which the perfect amount of nature welcomes you to see what the universe has to offer you apart from what human evolution does.
