A young boy murdered and raped a girl
In the Bemetara area of Chhattisgarh, a 10-year-old girl was allegedly raped and killed by a 17-year-old guy who lived in the neighbourhood.
After the victim was unexplainably discovered hanging at her home on Saturday, an investigation into the crime was started, according to Kotwali station house officer Amber Singh Bhardwaj.
The incident happened on Saturday in the vicinity of the City Kotwali police station, and the police detained the 17-year-old suspect on Monday, according to an official. Bemetra is 90 kilometres from Raipur, the state capital. The girl had been sexually molested and strangled, according to an initial investigation, he claimed.
According to him, the police identified the suspect and detained him after speaking with residents. The official stated that the suspect admitted to the police that he was dependent on watching pornographic films on his phone. After watching porn, the suspect broke into the victim’s home and abused her sexually.

Fear led to the murder
The accused allegedly strangled the girl with a scarf and then hanged her out of fear that she would tell her relatives. The official claimed that he then ran away through the terrace.
The Indian Penal Code Sections 376 (rape), 376 AB (rape on woman under 12 years of age), 302 (murder), 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence) and 450 (house trespass) as well as pertinent provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence (POCSO) Act were used to file a case against the accused, the official stated. According to officials, the accused was brought before a local court, which committed him to a juvenile facility in the Durg district.
