In southern China, Putian, attempting to contain a coronavirus, told the public Sunday not to leave, suspended bus and train service, and closed cinemas, bars, and other facilities.

China tightened Lockdown and increased orders for mass testing in cities on its east coast on Wednesday amid the most recent surge in COVID-19 cases.
