The chief minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot ask the BJP to answer the claims that it assisted one of the suspects in the Udaipur murder by asking the police to dismiss the case against him because he was a BJP member.
On Monday, Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, accused the BJP of having ties to the men who murdered Udaipur tailor Kanhaiya Lal and demanded an explanation from the organisation. Notably, on June 28, Riyaz Akhtar and Md. Gaus viciously stabbed Kanhaiya Lal to death before claiming on camera that they were “avenging Islam.” Police have evidence to think that Kanhaiya Lal was assassinated as a result of a post on a social messaging site endorsing BJP leader Nupur Sharma, who has been suspended over her comments on the Prophet.

“Everyone is aware of the accused’s affiliation with the BJP in the Udaipur beheading case. Recently, it was discovered that the defendant rented a home from another Muslim, “said Ashok Gehlot.
Actually, Riyaz Attari has been recognized as one of the detained suspects. Congress leaders asserted that Riyaz had ties to the BJP based on some of his images after his arrest. Media sources claim that before taking any action against the accused Riyaz, BJP leaders called the police station and explained that he was one of their employees and shouldn’t be persecuted. At the same time, CM Ashok Gehlot stated that everyone is aware of the extent to which the primary accused in this entire murder case is connected to the BJP
However, the BJP has refuted the aforementioned accusations. Following the appearance of photos of the primary suspect Riyaz Akhtari with several BJP politicians, including Leader of the Opposition Gulab Chand Kataria, on social media, the Congress claimed that Riyaz was a BJP employee. The BJP has refuted this charge.
