A succession of Events( compelled to remove innerwear)
An agonized father reported that their daughter is compelled to remove innerwear for writing the exam and the whole incident to the TV News channel. He said-
On July 17, he returned after leaving their young daughter for the exam. Then he received a call displaying “Information Technology”. He along with his wife rushed to the center to know the situation. On reaching the place, they saw their daughter in tears as she along with other girls were being compelled to remove innerwear for writing the Exam. “My 17-Year-old daughter told me that the authorities told them to either remove their bras or write the exam,” shared the father.
“There were two rooms where undergarments of young women and girls were stacked on top of each other in violation of COVID-19 protocols. Those writing the exams are between the age groups of 17 to 23. Imagine how uncomfortable it would be for them to concentrate during the exam when surrounded by male students as well,” the anguished father said.
Listening to the whole incident narrated by his daughter, they(father and daughter) filed a complaint to the Kottarakkara DySP office.
He also said that he will also take this matter to the Human Rights Commission since he feels it is also a violation of Human Rights.
