Indian Women’s Cricket Team player Rajeshwari Gayakwad got into a fight while shopping for cosmetics in a supermarket in Vijaypura. After a disagreement with the workers, Gayakwad departed the store. After that, a few individuals connected to the cricketer stormed the store and assaulted the employees.
The cricketer and the shopkeeper got into a furious debate over the cost of a few items, and they both exchanged harsh words. Soon after, her group stormed the store and beat the proprietor. Additionally, it was seen that the cricketer’s friend broke into the shop and even beat the owner when they arrived right away.
The supermarket’s CCTV camera captured the entire incident. None of the parties has reported the incident to the police.

Initially, the grocery store employees were meant to report the incident to the authorities after sharing the CCTV evidence. But instead of going to the police and complaining about each other, the dispute was resolved amicably by both sides. According to Anand Kumar of Vijaypura, no complaints have been filed as of yet.

In the 2017 Women’s Cricket World Cup final, when India lost to England by nine runs, Gayakwad was a member of the Indian side. She compiled India’s greatest bowling statistics in Women’s Cricket World Cup history during the same World Cup competition.
The spinner’s most recent appearance was in the championship game of the just-completed Senior Women’s T20 Challenger Trophy. She played for India D, who won the match by 7 wickets with one over left and secured the victory over India A. She helped take two wickets and contributed 21 runs at an economy rate of 5.25 in the four overs she was given.
