About Dasara
Dasara (a festival in India) is an upcoming Telugu language action film written and directed by Srikanth Odela, a protégé of Sukumar (Director and writer of Pushpa-The Rise).
The film stars Nani and Keerthy Suresh in the lead role. Other star casts of the film include Samuthirakani, Dheekshith Shetty, Shine Tom Chacko, Sai Kumar, Shamna Kasim, and Sajol Chowdhury.
The plot of the film revolves around the backdrop of the Singareni coal mines in Telangana near Godhavarikhani. The music of the film is given by Santosh Narayanan.
The film was announced in October 2021, and principal photography commenced in March 2022.
The film will release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages.
Dasara will mark the first PAN India film for superstar Nani. The film is all set for a theatrical release on 30th March 2024.

The teaser launch of the film was unveiled by many known personalities on their respective Twitter accounts including SS Rajamouli, Dhanush, Rakshit Shetty, Dulquer Salman, and Shahid Kapoor.

In the popular trend of PAN India films, this film is a promising venture for the fans where the Jersey (2019) fame Nani is all set to blaze the big screen in the intense action drama.
A source close to the film stated: “Dasara is a very rooted film, and the teaser of the film will indicate the raw, rustic, and intense nature of the film. Just like the festival of Dasara, which marks the victory of good over evil, the film will decrepit the same”.

In the teaser, it is seen that Nani is standing in front of a huge Ravana, and a glimpse of the village is shown in which the actor resides, which is Veerlapally, situated in Telangana in the neighborhood of Godavarikhani. The teaser focuses on the dark side of the village, where the lives of the people who are working for the Singareni coal mines are filled with an abundance of alcohol. The people of the Singareni coal mines look dark, and drinking alcohol is a tradition.
In the wild world of the protagonist, Dharani (Nani), some evil forces are seen disturbing the peace in the village, and the antagonist is played by Shine Tom Chacko as Chinna Nambi and Sai Kumar as Rajanna. However, the leading heroine, Keerthy Suresh, is missing from the trailer.
