Synopsis: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Deepotsav Celebration in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh on 23 October. PM Modi’s program has been released.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ayodhya on Dhanteras, i.e., October 23, for the grand Deepotsav program to be held at Ram Paidi Ghat and will also visit the under-construction temple site (Ram Janamabhoomi teerth kshetra) to check the progress of Ram Mandir. PM Modi will also attend the Coronation ceremony (Rajya-Abhishek) of Lord Ram.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adtiyanath will also visit Ayodhya on Wednesday. There he will hold a meeting with the officials and discuss preparations for the deepotsav. This will be CM Yogi’s fourth visit to Ayodhya in about a month.
The first Deepotsav celebration was started in Ayodhya in 2017 after the BJP government was formed and Yogi Adityanath became the Chief Minister of U.P.
This time it will be the sixth consecutive year of the “Deepotsav” Celebration. The 3-day celebration of Deepotsav will begin on October 21st. This year, the state government is trying to set a new Guinness world record by lighting up 17 lakh lamps at Saryu river Ghat, the holy place.
This will be Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first visit to Ayodhya since laying the foundation stone for Ram Mandir on August 5, 2020. The grand Ram Mandir is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
PM Modi’s Schedule to Visit Ayodhya:
According to official sources, PM Modi will offer prayers at the under-construction Ram Mandir of Lord Ram at 4:55 p.m.
At 5:05 pm, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ram Janamabhoomi Teerth Kshetra.
At 5:40 pm, he will attend Lord Ram’s coronation.
At 6:25 pm, he will perform the aarti at the ghat of Saryu river ghat.
At 6:40 pm, he will attend the Deepotsav program at Ram ki Paidi ghat, and there he will also witness green and digital fireworks on the banks of the holy Sarayu river.
Before visiting Ayodhya, PM Modi had a jam-packed schedule with back-to-back visits to Gujarat and Uttrakhand.
According to sources, these visits will cover a wide range of topics, including defense, diplomacy, education, the environment, spiritual heritage, sports, roads to ropeways, temple rejuvenation to tourism, from the lighthouse to life, infrastructure to industry, and so on.
