On Thursday, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the Budget of Delhi for the 2022-23 Financial Year likely be presented in March. This year’s budget theme will be “Swaraj Budget,” a second time for the 2022-23 financial year, and will have a participatory budget.Â
The Delhi Government sought suggestions to boost the economy; Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal believes the city’s business community and industrialists better understand what to push the Capital’s industrialist sector forward.
They also took suggestions from the residents of Delhi about the problems they are facing and how they can be overcome at the ground level. The govt. received more than 1000 suggestions on the Budget and different ideas from the local people on various aspects.
The budget for the 2022-23 financial year will present a roadmap for the Capital’s economic progress, with a particular focus on generating employment opportunities and making Delhi a business hub.Â
Some people are suggested that the govt. should develop “Mohalla Libraries” on the lines of the “Mohalla Clinic.” One suggestion would be helpful for those who live in a densely populated area with narrow space and no privacy to study.Â
Another said that cheaper parking facilities for Electric Vehicles (EVs) might incentivize people to adopt a green transport model. Others are suggested localized sewage plants, the concept of small-scale community solar plants, reuse of water to irrigate parks, and doorstep e-waste collection.Â
