BJP MP from the North East Delhi Constituency Manoj Tiwari has alleged complicity by State Government Aam Aadmi Party before the MCD elections. He alleged that the names of 450 voters have been deleted from the voter list in Subhash mohalla.

He said that AAP has conspired against them so that voters can be halted from voting during elections. He announced that he would file a complaint against this and request to rescind the elections.
The elections are held to elect representatives for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Elections have started today (4 December) and the results will be announced on December 7.
MCD was founded as an autonomous organization by the Special Act of Parliament, 1958. It is one of the largest municipal authorities in the world.
Reportedly, this will be the first election after the Central government legislated the Delhi Municipal Corporation (Amendment) bill to re-integrate the municipal bodies in Delhi.
MCD is responsible for providing support to the primary schools, and various dispensaries and the Delhi government is responsible for secondary schools, colleges, and larger and specialized facilities.
