Demon Slayer season 3 is officially in production. Here’s everything you need to know about the anime: –

- It was announced that the third season would be based on the “Swordsmith Village” arc.
About the anime:
Demon Slayer: Kimestu no Yaiba (鬼滅の刃) is a Japanese manga series written by Koyoharu Gotouge.
The series revolves around a young boy named Tanjiro Kamado, whose entire family has been killed except for his sister Nezuko by a demon.
His sister survived, but she transformed into a demon. She retains human qualities, emotions, and memories of her family and brother Tanjiro.
Tanjiro Kamado, just to protect his sister and to retain him back as a human, joins a community called Demon Slayer Corps.
He set out on a long journey to avenge his family’s death.
About the second season:
Like the first season, the second season of Demon Slayer was always a blockbuster and received tremendous popularity worldwide.
The second season 2 featured the subtitles “Entertainment District Arc”.
The Entertainment District Arc takes Tanjiro and company to Yoshiwara, an unscrupulous red-light district, where crime and demon activity run rampant.
Tanjiro is always ready to help others selflessly, and also in this season, we can see how much effort he has put into solving the problems of Yoshiwara.
About the season 3:
After a blockbuster season, fans are assuming, will there be a Demon Slayer 3?
The first season of the anime is the 12th most popular anime on Myanimelist with a score of 8.57/10, and as we see for the sequel of the anime, which was named Mugen Train, it was 8.7/10.
As we come to season 2 of the anime, its rating is 8.8/10, which is pretty high according to Myanimelist.
And also, according to the Parrot Analysis, Demon Slayer was the most demanded TV series in the United States.
Considering the popularity and public demand for season 3 of the anime, the creators announced the third season at the end of the second season finale. The following season will adopt the “Swordsmith Village” arc.
About the plot:
The Demon Slayer 3 is being adapted by the wordsmith, Village Arc. It covers a total of 28 chapters (100–127). So, we can expect the third season to have 12 episodes like the previous season.
In this season, Tanjiro will arrive at Swordsmith Village to get his sword fixed. He finds that his usual contact is missing.
As he starts investigating, he meets two new “Hashira”. The first is Mitsuki Kanroji known to be “love Hashira”. She is joined by Genya Shinazugawa, and Tanjiro is sent on a hunt to find a weapon in the village.
About the release date:
As the new trailer for season 3 has been released, we can assume that it will soon be released in late 2022 or early 2024 as no official announcement of the release date has been made until now.
Ufotable, the animation studio, has been very consistent with the release schedule as when the anime debuted with season 1 was released in the year 2019, followed by the Mugen Train movie, which was released in 2020, and including season 2 released in the year 2022.
There left no doubt that season 3 will be released soon.
About the cast:
Tanjiro (Natsuki Hanae), Zenitsu (Hiro Shimono), Inosuke (Yoshitsugu Matsuka), and Nezuko (Akari Kitou) will definitely will return to this season.
Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji and Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito will be two of the primary new characters in the upcoming season.
There will also be an episode featuring Tengen Uzui living happily after being retired with his three wives.
We can also expect more of the “Hashiras” to appear in the upcoming season, as well as members of the Twelve Upper Moons.
Haruo Satozaki will be directing Demon Slayer season 3: Swordsmith Village, while Akira Matsushima is returning as character designer.
