Dhanush has asked the couple to issue an apology regarding their allegation. He also warned them against a potential Rs 10 crore defamation lawsuit.
Tamil superstar Dhanush and his father Kasthoori Raja issued a legal notice and sent the same to a couple from Madurai claiming Dhanush to be their biological son. The actor’s lawyer S Haja Mohideen Gisthi sent the legal notice to the couple. As specified by the Indian news agency ANI, the actor and his father have also made it clear for the couple to issue a press statement to express their apology.
According to the official reports, the couple also has to make it clear to the press that all the allegations are false and apologize for the same. If they refuse to do the same, they will face a Rs 10 crore defamation lawsuit for the loss of reputation and the harm caused by their allegations.
Dhanush will be seen working in Anthony and Joe Russo directed ‘The Gray Man’ besides a stellar star cast comprising Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Rege-Jean Page, Jessica Henwick, Billy Bob Thornton, and Wagner Moura. Netflix has already shared the first look of the superstar from the movie.
The movie is based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Mark Greeney. Billed as an action thriller that follows a CIA agent who identifies some secrets which unleash the wrath of one of his colleagues who then sets a bounty on him thus making him prone to deadly assassins. Dhanush recollected his experience of working in the movie and with the Russo brother as “a very good learning experience”
Currently, Dhanush has a lineup of projects he will be working on. Dhanush recently finished working on the film Naane Varuven, directed by Selvaraghavan this April.
