Legendary cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni is now set for the second innings of his life.
He took retirement from international cricket two years ago.
Former Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni’s production house, Dhoni Entertainment Private Limited (DEPL), which was founded in 2019, is soon going to produce its first feature film in Tamil.
Dhoni’s Production house to introduce a feature film in Tamil
MS Dhoni has an exceptional bond with Tamil people because he played for the Chennai Super Kings, and now this bond is going to be strengthened by producing its first feature film in Tamil, said Dhoni Entertainment.
This film is a family entertainer, conceptualized by Sakshi Dhoni. She is also the managing director of Dhoni Entertainments.
MS Dhoni’s wife, Sakshi Dhoni, has also produced a popular documentary titled “Roar of the Lion”. This movie is based on IPL matches played by Chennai Super Kings.
The first feature film in Tamil, which is yet-to-be-titled, will be directed by Ramesh Thamilmani. He also wrote the new age graphic novel ‘Atharva: The Origin’.
The film is going to be produced by Dhoni Entertainment, and the cast and crew of the film are yet to be announced.
The Dhoni’s production house also produced a short film about cancer awareness, “Women’s Day Out.”
Dhoni’s production house has also announced that it intends to make movies in all mainstream languages across India.
Dhoni Entertainment Private Limited also talks with multiple scriptwriters and filmmakers to create meaningful content across different genres, including suspense-thrillers, dramas, comedies, and sci-fi.

This idea was fresh and had all the potential to be a fun-filled family entertainer.
