Three hundred sixty-five days of happiness have passed for actress Dia Mirza and her husband Vaibhav Rekhi as they celebrate their first wedding anniversary today.
On Tuesday, Dia Mirza celebrates her first wedding anniversary with Vaibhav Rekhi. Sharing a video shot by The Wedding Filmer, Dia lets fans get mesmerized by the joyous occasion. Dia has surprised hubby Vaibhav on this particular occasion by sharing a seek-to-peek of their wedding video with the world.
The Thappad actress penned her heart out as she shared a beautiful glimpse of her ‘sustainable wedding’ last February15,2022.
She shared a video on her social media handle that gives glimpses of some adorable moments of the bride and the groom, along with the eco-friendly decor.
She captioned it so beautifully
“There are years that ask questions and years that are full of answers. This was the year when so many of our dreams were fulfilled, and many prayers were answered. Currently, the actress is celebrating her first wedding anniversary in Coorg with hubby Vaibhav. Dia gives glimpses of the beautiful flora and fauna on social media as she explores Coorg with Vaibhav. She even shared a cute photo with Vaibhav from her trip on her social media handle.
Speaking about her soulmate Vaibhav, Dia shared,
“Marriage is about balance, harmony, and communication. From the first moment that I met Vaibhav, there was a deep connection and trust between us, and everything that followed was simple, easy, and effortless. I genuinely feel at home with him because he sees me as I am and has no desire to alter me. The same goes for me. We are partners in the word’s true sense, and celebrating the ordinary and the special moments together is immensely fulfilling. Having Vaibhav as a co-traveler has expanded my world, both within and without.
On February 15, 2021, dia Mirza tied the knot with entrepreneur Vaibhav Rekhi. Dia is the step-mom of samaira Vaibhav’s daughter From his first Marriage. She gave birth to her son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi in 2021.
Talking about son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi, born prematurely, on May 14, she says he has been her most prominent teacher.
He is so mindful and unconditionally loving, and nothing gives me more happiness than to watch him flower into a beautiful being. The resilience with which he triumphed over the challenges of premature birth and his joy in the smallest of things have taught me so much.
Dia has also worked on new projects, lent her voice to multiple causes, and worked actively as a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador and UN Secretary-General’s Advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals to broaden the conversation.
On climate changes, she says: “This year has also been eventful because I felt compelled to invest in sustainable businesses as a mother. I truly feel more committed to doing whatever I can to make this planet a healthier place for my son, my daughter, and the generation that will continue to be here long after we’re gone.”
Time flew so fast, giving us immense and beautiful lessons. It seems just like yesterday Vaibhav, and I was getting married in the presence of our loved ones. Further, she added.
