Disney has offered Hollywood actor Johnny Depp a compensation of $301 million for his return as Captain Jack Sparrow in The Pirates of the Caribbean, the report.

The rumor was started by pop-culture website Poptonic until his team turned down the fake news.

Disney had made a sincere apology sending him the gift basket with a heartfelt letter and requesting his return, the report says.

This apology from Disney came four years after it discontinued all its relations with Depp due to a defamation case by Depp’s ex-wife Amber Heard.
