Indian legendary music composer and singer Bappi Lahiri died yesterday in hospital Mumbai. The news was confirmed by DR. Deepak Namjoshi, the director of that hospital. According to the doctor, Bappi da died due to Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSP), where Bappi da was sleeping and passed away shortly before midnight.
It was saying Bappi Lahiri take his late breaths in the last mid-night. It is said that Bappi da has been suffering from multiple health issues for the past few months, where for one month, he was admitted many times in hospital because of bad health.
According to the report, 69 years old Bappi da was discharged on Monday, but his health went terrible on Tuesday. His family called the doctor to visit him at their house, and Dr. suggested they admit him to the hospital, but due to OSP, he passed away at midnight.
Whereas last year he also got covid positive and had to get hospitalized, after the rest and good wishes from his fans, he succeeded in beating coronavirus and got well in only a few days.
Bappi da has also shared a post on Instagram where he said Disheartening to learn about certain media outlets putting out false reports about me and my health. With the blessings of my fans and wellwishers I am doing well!
Bappi Lahiri’s born name was Alokesh Lahiri, but only a few people know about this where the world knows him as Bappi Lahiri. He was born in 1952 in n small town of west Bangel named Jalpaiguri. He was from a Bengali baramin family.
Both his mother and father are Bagnoli singers and musicians in classical music. Bappi Da was the only child in their family, and he got all his music knowledge from his parents. Bappi Lahiri started his musical training career at a very young age.
When Bappi da was three years old, he began playing a classical instrument, and his first instrument was a Tabla. Bappi da was known for his massive music composition and singing in the 1970s-80s, like Disco Dancer, Sharabi, Om Shanti Om, and chalte chalte.
Through his music knowledge and unique music sense, he brings a new era of music to our music industry. Bappi da write, compose, and sings lots of songs like Yaar Bina chani kha re, om Shanti om, disco dancer, Pag Ghungru Bandh, Raat Baaki Baat Baaki and lots of more songs like them.
He brings Indian music and international music at the same time and change, Bollywood music and songs. He makes discotheques and dance numbers whereas at the same time he also makes lots of melodious songs like Chalte chalte, Dil Main Ho Tum, and also his lots of song pieces were recreated such as Tamma Tamma Again, Array Pyaar Kr Le.
He also interviews a news channel where he talks about his previous work, projects he is working on, and upcoming projects. The reporter asked him how he spends his time at home in lockdown and how sitting house helps him do something good.
In reply to her question, Bappi da told her about his projects where he said that yes, it was pretty helpful for him because he wrote 20 more new songs in this pandemic period. One of them we can hear in movie Bagghi 3 named as bhankas and many other musical song pieces which are coming soon in feature.
