The Congress party is not pleased with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s reference to “dark magic.” Rahul Gandhi, a prominent politician, criticised PM Modi and demanded that he “stop degrading the dignity” of the position by discussing such superstitious matters. Gandhi’s assault comes a day after Prime Minister Modi attacked the Congress for wearing black gowns on August 5 in protest against price increases, saying those who believe in “kala jadu” will never be able to regain the confidence of the public. Attacking him, Gandhi questioned if he was blind to the country’s unemployment or inflation.
Gandhi remarked in a Hindi tweet, “Prime Minister-ji, stop degrading the dignity of the prime minister’s job and deceiving the public by talking about superstitious things like ‘black magic’ to disguise your bad acts. The previous head of the Congress said, “You will have to respond to concerns of the people.”
At a gathering, PM Modi made a covert allusion to Congress leaders’ black-clad protest over price hikes when he remarked that there was an effort to propagate the “black magic” mindset. According to the prime minister, individuals who believe that by donning black clothing, their period of despondency would stop are ignorant that no matter how much black magic they use or superstitions they believe in, people will never again have faith in them.
“On August 5, we witnessed how certain individuals tried to propagate ‘dark magic,'” Modi had stated while speaking at a ceremony in Panipat to dedicate the second-generation ethanol facility worth Rs 900 crore. These folks believe that by dressing in all black, they might overcome their hopelessness. But they are unaware that they cannot regain the public’s faith by using witchcraft, black magic, or superstition, Modi had stated.
The prime minister said that certain citizens of the nation are enmeshed in a pit of despair and pessimism. The public is not ready to trust such people, even after they lied about the government.
The prime minister said that certain citizens of the nation are enmeshed in a pit of despair and pessimism. “The public is not inclined to believe these people, even after they have lied about the government. These folks are also seen resorting to dark magic out of despair, “Added Modi. The Prime Minister made a statement about “kala jadu” (black magic), to which the Congress responded, stating that although the nation wants him to discuss its problems, “jumlajeevi” keeps saying anything he wants.
