When police got information about the event on Sunday around midnight, several drug users were engaged in taking narcotics near Pandey Mor Tiraha. So far, the police have filed a case and detained 26 persons.

The police car was also vandalized, and four police constables were injured. We have detained 26 persons and filed charges against them.”
Policemen Are Attacked By A Mob
An incident erupted between the mob and the police team on Sunday night after the latter urged them to cease using narcotics. The brawl escalated, and drug users reportedly assaulted one of the officers, injuring him.
When more police officers arrived on the scene, locals attacked them with stones, forcing officers to use lathi charges to separate the mob.
Later, police raided the Musahar neighborhood, arresting twenty males and six women in connection with the crime. The officers who were hurt were brought to a local hospital for treatment.

However, a few Musahar residents said that the police came to the scene when they were unloading sand from trucks and counting their money.
Despite the police’s repeated orders to leave, they refused to go. According to witnesses, they assured the policemen they would leave in a few minutes, but the cops pummelling them, enraged them, and violence ensued.
