After the two Fantastic Beasts series, here comes the Fantastic Beasts 3: The Secrets of Dumbledore to premiere on Easter weekend of 2022.
After the two adventurous volumes, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them (2016) and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018), here comes the third series, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.
Earlier, the studio planned to release on July 15th of 2022, and on Wednesday, the studio announced its final release date on April 15th 2022. The studio preponed the release to three months.
Warner Bros is planning to release the movie in theatres rather than in OTTs, and it is all set to release on the Easter weekend of 2022.
For Warner Bros, Easter weekends are always colourful and cheerful period with such prominent box office debuts as Batman v. Superman ($166M), Clash of the Titans ($61.2M), Ready Player One ($47M) and Godzilla v. Kong ($48M). And they hope that Fantastic Beasts 3 will also fly out with colours.
Fantastic Beasts Twitter handle posted the title of the new series on Wednesday, which already has passed 1.8 million views.
David Yates, the director of the last four series of Harry Potter and the first two parts of Fantastic Beasts, continues to be the director in the third series of Fantastic Beasts.
Warner Bros Studio already announced that the Fantastic Beasts would have five series, and each series will be in different cities.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them was in New York City and Crimes of Grindelwald in Paris, and the Secrets of Dumbledore to be in Rio de Janeiro.
Fantastic Beasts 3 – First story plot
Along with announcing the title and release date, they revealed a short plot of Fantastic Beasts also.
The logline of the new series says, “Professor Albus Dumbledore knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magi zoologist Newt Scamander to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?”
The third series is based on Albus Dumbledore sending Newt Scamander for a new mission.

And much more casts. The role played by Johnny Depp was replaced by Mads Mikkelsen. Depp was cut from the third series as he was involved in some allegations.
In the first two series, Depp played the role of Gellert Grindelwald, a dark wizard who is the villain.
The second series, Crimes of Grindelwald, was not much rated, and it was a dud. Thus, to overcome that, Warner Bros planned for series three and gave Rowling and the team enough time to develop a hit story, and there came the pandemic, which gave them about three and a half years.
Finally, the team is here with the third series, Fantastic Beasts: The Secret of Dumbledore. The movie crew hopes that this will hit the box office and will be a great success.
Across the world, people are eagerly waiting for the Easter weekend to watch Fantastic Beasts: The Secret of Dumbledore, which will release on April 15th 2022.
