The North-London club Arsenal secures their first home win of the season against the foxes.Â
The new Brazilian signing once again didn’t fail to impress the world as the newest Gabriel of Arsenal helps the team to secure a win by scoring a brace and providing an assist.
On 13th August 2022, Arsenal welcomed Leicester City to the Emirates stadium to play their first-ever home game of the Premier League season. Once again Arsenal continued their momentum from Pre-season where they got better off Leicester City this time.
Arsenal fans rejoiced by the goal galore at Emirates stadium. Gabriel Jesus opened the scoring in the 23rd minute with a world-class chip amidst being in the herd of defenders in the penalty box.
The Emirates Stadium went crazy at the 35th minute of the game when again their new signing Gabriel Jesus doubled the lead to make it 2-0 for Arsenal just ten minutes before halftime.
As things were going pretty well for Arsenal, after eight minutes of halftime, Arsenal’s Brazilian center-back William Saliba conceded an own-goal resulting in the score line being 2-1.
Again, rejuvenated Arsenal was quick enough to respond as one of their senior players Granit Xhaka scored a wonderful goal in the 55th minute to make it 3-1 for the Gunners.
As everyone thought the game is over, Leicester City showed the signs of resurrection with the veteran Leicester player James Maddison putting the ball into the back of the net to make it 3-2 at the 74th minute of the clock.
Arsenal’s attack seems to be pretty deadly this season. Once again it didn’t take Arsenal to announce their comeback with the Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli scoring a cheeky goal from outside the box to make it 4-2 for Arsenal.
Arsenal team from the signings to Premier League has been great. In the transfer market, they made some good moves and those players performed incredibly well in the pre-season. Now that momentum is getting translated to the Premier League as well. Arsenal faces AFC Bournemouth in their next game on 20th August.Â
