Gigi Hadid has made it clear what she thinks of Kanye West. A surprise fashion show has sparked controversy during Paris Fashion Week, with another unexpected twist to go along with it. According to The Guardian, Kanye West hosted a secret catwalk showcasing his line of apparel. However, his fashion line included a t-shirt that had “White Lives Matter” printed on it, which raised eyebrows.
Gigi Hadid called Kanye West a “bully” on Instagram after the rapper bashed Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-style Johnson’s decisions for not approving of his widely condemned “White Lives Matter” shirts.
Gigi Hadid criticizes Kanye West’s new fashion line.
“You wish you had a percentage of her intellect.” You have no idea, haha… If there’s any point to any of your shirts, she might be the only person who can save you, “Hadid commented on a post shared by Kanye West. “As if the ‘privilege’ of being invited to your show should prevent someone from expressing their thoughts…” LMAO. “You’re a bully and a joke.” She concluded.
Previously, Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson had some thoughts on the rapper’s fashion line. “Here comes the bulls***,” she captioned a video of a model wearing the contentious t-shirt on her Instagram Stories. “I’m fuming… trying to gather my thoughts… unjustifiable behaviour.” She then shared a text conversation she had with a friend, claiming that Ye doesn’t know the difference between “appropriating Black Lives Matter” and “defying” former President Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan.
The “City Of Gods” rapper responded to Karefa-Johnson by posting photos of her profile on Instagram.
You can’t beat Kanye if you get involved in any argument with him! On his Instagram account, the rapper posted a photo of Karefa-Johnson wearing lace-up brown boots, a striped knit skirt, a casual yellow graphic t-shirt, and a corduroy trench coat. With a blue Balenciaga purse, mirror sunglasses, and a chunky necklace, the fashion journalist completed her look. West captioned the Instagram photo, “This is not a fashion person,” adding, “You speak on Ye Ima, speak on you Ask Trevor Noah,” referring to his beef with Noah.
Gigi Hadid lashes out at Kanye West for continuing to bully Vogue’s fashion editor.
Gigi Hadid and other celebrities showed their support for Gabriella Vogue’s fashion editor. Gigi shared a couple of stories after commenting on Ye’s post. The model then shared a post of Karefa in her story and wrote alongside, “One of our industry’s most influential voices. With laughing emojis, & could school that disgraceful man more than he knows. “
Kanye has now posted a new Instagram post in which he shares a photo of Gabriella and apologizes for his bullying behavior. “Gabby is my sister,” West wrote. I’m not going to bed thinking I didn’t meet with her at 5 p.m. today for 2 hours and then we went to dinner at Ferdie’s. ” He ended his statement by saying, “She Disagreed, I Disagreed, and We Disagreed.”
