Salman Khan makes a guest role in the movie 'Godfather' ," carried by Chiranjeevi. However, Satyadev is an unexpected bonus.
Story Of The Movie ‘Godfather’ :
The story begins with the death of a state chief minister. This leaves the important position available, and Jai (Satyadev) and Satya (Nayanthara), the son-in-law and daughter of the late CM, are in line to take over as CM. To prevent this from happening, Brahma (Chiranjeevi), another strong member of the party, enters the picture. The rest of the plot centers on a cat-and-mouse battle to determine who will ultimately lead the state as CM.
Plus Points:
The Malayalam hit Lucifer was officially remade as Godfather, but director Mohan Raja made some clever adjustments to make it more appealing to the Telugu audience. In addition to telling the narrative accurately, Mohan Raja does so in an entertaining way.
The way in which he has presented Chiranjeevi in this film is outstanding. Throughout all of these years, we have seen Chiranjeevi in parts that required a great deal of enthusiasm, but in Godfather, he portrays a mature politician and does an excellent job with it.
Chiranjeevi does not have a lot of lines in his movies, but he conveys a lot of emotion through his eyes. Even though he does not dance or make people laugh, his followers will still love him because of his screen presence and the calm way he performs. Lakshmi Bhupal’s sentences are spot-on without being overly flowery, and they contribute to the increasing of the drama. Consider, for example, the now-famous comments spoken by Chiranjeevi, which translate as “I am staying far away from politics, but politics does not remain far away from me” in Telugu.
Nayanthara has a significant part to perform in the movie and adds a great deal of depth of character to it. However, if there is one performer who completely overshadows the rest of the cast, it is none other than the youthful hero Satyadev. He takes you by surprise with his malicious act, and he is the ideal opponent for Chiranjeevi. The manner in which Satyadev plays his part is convincing, and he leaves a significant impression on the audience.
Murali Sharma is given a significant role, and his performance was remarkable. The opening part of the story is packed with intelligently planned and well carried out political scenes. Brahmaji, Sunil, Samutrakani do well in their parts.
Last but certainly not least, Salman’s cameo as Masoom Bhai brings in the element of fun and is mostly packed with explosive action and confidence. The moments when Bollywood and Tollywood collide will be fun for fans of both types of movies. Even a Telugu line is spoken by Salman, and it goes as follows: “Ee GodFather court lo thappu chesinodiki siksha thappadu.” Despite this, the images during the sequences of the explosions should have been represented more effectively.
Mini Points:
When compared to it, the drama of Godfather seemed to be lacking in comparison to that of Lucifer, which had a very compelling storyline. The second half is a lot slower than the first because there isn’t as much story to show off. It is because of this that the music starts playing just before the climax of the scene.
The feelings expressed in the second may have been conveyed with more force. The conclusion does not adequately justify Salman Khan’s participation, despite the fact that it is presented in an impressive manner.
The events that take place are also rather predictable. Even though Satyadev is entertaining, the film could have benefited from some additional padding for him in order to strengthen the villain aspect of the story.
Technical Aspects of the movie ‘Godfather’:
Speaking of the film’s director, Mohan Raja, he is well-known for being an expert in the field of remakes, and he has done an excellent job with the movie. He makes excellent use of Chiranjeevi’s grace and allows his eyes to convey emotion. The alterations that he makes and the new mass elements that he has introduced with Salman are both beneficial.
The fact that Mohan Raja does not try too hard to include over-the-top comedy or sequences and instead tells the story of the political thriller in an appropriate manner is the best aspect of the picture. When you believe that the movie is going to get easier to follow as it nears its conclusion, he brings in Salman and concludes the movie on a high note.
Verdict:
The Godfather is, all things considered, an outstanding example of a political thriller that is told in an intelligent manner. The film’s fundamental strengths include a more experienced and sophisticated Chiranjeevi, strong performances by Satyadev and Nayanthara, and a humorous cameo from Salman Khan.
The sections of Godfather that are entertaining are the ones in which the political intrigue leads to a game of cat and mouse. It had the makings of a thrilling political drama, but in the end, it turned out to be one of those movies that you can only enjoy if you go into it with low expectations and a light heart. GodFather demonstrates that it is a respectable remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer, and the masses are having a fun ride as the boss is back in action this Dussehra.
