HBO Max Rebranded to Max

Warner bros unveil the new name of the streaming platform ‘Max’. It will will contain content from HBO Max and Discovery+.

The streaming platform ‘HBO Max’ has been rebranded to ‘Max’ that will go live on May 23, 2024. The Max and HBO originals, Warner Bros. movies, the DC universe, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and kids’ content, as well as programming in the areas of food, home, reality, lifestyle, and documentaries from renowned brands like HGTV, Food Network, Discovery Channel, TLC, ID, and more, will all be available on this streaming platform very soon.

HBO is known for their quality content in TV shows and series. Game of Thrones, Euphoria, Succession, The Last of Us, The White Lotus etc. These shows were streaming on Disney+ Hotstar in India and shows were removed on March 31^st. The availability of Max is still not confirmed by Warner bros.

• ‘The Fixer Upper: The Hotel’ on Magnolia Network;
• The Discovery Channel’s ‘Survive the Raft’;
• The Max-produced ‘Peter & the Wolf’ short film from Bono of U2;
• ‘Rick and Morty: The Anime’ on Adult Swim;
• ‘Lost Women of Highway 20’ on Investigation Discovery;
• ‘Tiny Toons Looniversity’ by Cartoon Network

The upcoming streaming service provided the first looks of the below-mentioned shows on their social media platforms.

• ‘The Sympathizer’, an HBO Original Drama Series that blends cross-cultural satire with an espionage thriller, was inspired by the Pulitzer Prize–winning book;
• Collin Farell starring ‘The Penguin’
• ‘True Detective: Night Country’, HBO limited series starring Jodie Foster and Kali Reis
• ‘The Regime’ starring Kate Winslet.
• Original six-episode docuseries following Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes as they give fans an inside peek at their podcast’s sold-out live tour, ‘SmartLess: On the Road’.
• ‘Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai’, a Max original kids’ series.
• Ashley Graham will be the host of the four-part ‘Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge’ on HGTV.

All future and current Warner Bros. films will be offered in 4K UHD when they are released on this streaming platform after their theatrical runs.
