A successful Save.

The cable car is a component of Parwanoo’s famed Timber Trail private resort.
This episode reminded me of an occurrence in October 1992, when 11 people became caught on the very same ropeway. The Indian Air Force eventually saved them
Three individuals died in April of this year after being trapped in cable cars for more than 40 hours in Jharkhand’s Deoghar district.
On Monday, 11 visitors were detained for hours on the Parwanoo Timber Trail (cable car) owing to a mechanical fault. According to one of the recovered individuals, all 11 visitors were from Delhi. Speaking to reporters, the Solan district SP stated that some other cable car trolly had been dispatched to save them. A state emergency management official said, “Eleven individuals have been trapped mid-air on a cable car at Parwanoo Timber Trail in Solan as rescuers began taking them to safety one by one.” “All 11 visitors were saved,” authorities stated, adding that the event occurred about 11 a.m. According to Onkar Chand Sharma, Principal Secretary, Disaster Management Himachal Pradesh, all 11 trapped individuals have been rescued.
In the first stage, four individuals were saved from the uphill trolly. According to Onkar Chand Sharma, Principal Secretary, Disaster Management, Himachal Pradesh, 7 of the 11 persons in the downhill trolly have been saved, and the other 4 are anticipated to be rescued within half an hour. In total, 15 people were trapped in two cable cars. There were four persons in the uphill trolly and eleven people in the downhill trolly. Seven individuals have been rescued thus far. The NDRF team will arrive shortly, and the Air Force is on notice, according to Onkar Chand Sharma, Principal Secy, Disaster Management, HP. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur took to Twitter to promise that all trapped visitors will be safely recovered.
“A tourist rescue effort is underway at Solan’s Parwanoo Timber Trail. I went to the location as soon as I learned about the event. The administration is on the scene, and with the assistance of the NDRF and the administration, all passengers will be safely evacuated shortly,” the CM stated in a Hindi tweet.
People in the video claimed to have been stranded on the cable car for nearly an hour, but officials had yet to assist them. Earlier this month, following a ropeway disaster in Jharkhand’s Deoghar that claimed three lives, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a recommendation to all states to develop standard operating procedures and contingency plans for ropeway operations. Jai Ram Thakur spoke with all 11 persons who had been successfully evacuated and enquired about their well-being. He stated that adequate measures will be made to guarantee that similar situations do not occur again. Sanjay Tandon, MP Shimla and state BJP president Suresh Kashyap, other BJP office bearers, Deputy Commissioner Solan Kritika Kulhari, Superintendent of Police Virendra Sharma, officers and staff of the NDRF and other departments were present.
