And after four years, the true successor of this film, Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, was released in 2021.
After releasing the trailer, the film has to face various criticism from internet users; some say it’s just a waste of time, and some say it’s perfect for mood refreshments.
But my opinion is, if you watch movies just for enjoyment and relaxation then this is what you are looking for.
The film got a 6.1 IMDb rating and earned 69.8 million dollars at the box office.
Casts
Patrick Hughes directed the film, and the storyline was written by Tom O’Connor, Philip Murphy, and Brandon Murphy.
And the main cast is the world’s most lethal odd duo Ryan Reynold & Samuel L. Jackson, with international con artist Salma Hayek.
The new addition is Antonio Banderas as a villain, and the other cast members are Morgan Freeman, Frank Grillo, Gabriella Wright and more.
Story
The basic storyline of this film is like this: The bodyguard Michael Bryce continued his friendship with hitman Darius Kincaid and tried to save Darius’ wife from his two most dangerous protectees.
But soon find that they are in-between Europe and vengeful and powerful mad evil business mogul Aristotle Papadopoulos, a new character in this series.
Darius and Sonia wanted a family, but Darius was kidnapped. During the rescue mission, the three were arrested by an interior agent Bobby O’Neill, and the role played by Frank Grillo.
Bobby arrested them for hunting Aristotle, who wanted to destroy all of Europe for revenge.

The series keeps his signature style here also. Heroic gunfights, stunning car cheesing and outstanding comedies make this film a complete entertainment package.
The twist is Sonia’s role, a crazy, rough and straightforward character. This time Sonia played a great position and gave her charms.
Reveals
Not just this, the film reveals a lot about the characters. The film digs into Bryce’s family life. In the previous movie, The Hitman’s Bodyguard, Bryce asked why he didn’t go to Tuscany when he was in Italy.
And this film reveals that because his father lives there.
A flashback reveals Bryce lost his mother in teenage and his stepfather was a legendary bodyguard.
Twist in this films
The film is full of twists with some unexpected moves. In the movie, we see that Sonia and Darius wish to have child’s but later revealed that Sonia could not have kids due to a gunshot wound, so they decided to adopt one.
They decided Bryce is like a son to both of them. And in the final scene, Sonia takes Bryce’s sign on a form and reveals it’s an adoption form.

The film Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard creates a path for the third sequence. Because still now Bryce didn’t get his AAA security title, it’s taken a long way to achieve it.
And now the new series will show Trios family life and adventurous life.
The film takes its shape with time. The 1st film, The Hitman’s Bodyguard, shows Bryce and Darius’ death feud and ends with a friendship.
The second one started with the severe company and ended as a family. Now the question is, which way the next movie will go?
