Although her lawyer has said that he could not confirm those allegations.Â
TASS reported on Monday that the 44 year old journalist has now been added to the ‘wanted list’ of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Marina came to the spotlight when she stood behind an anchor during a live show with the sign ‘No War’. she was reportedly an editor at Russia state controlled channel one television station. The journalist was later arrested for her offence and was interrogated for 14 straight hours. She was later released with a fine of 30,000 rubles ($500). Marina was found guilty by a Moscow court for organising an ‘unauthorised public event’. She fled the country only to return again in July.
The Russian journalist has stated her dissatisfaction with work and reportedly felt ‘ashamed’ during her time in station one but it was impossible for her to stay silent after the invasion and therefore she wanted the world to know that many of the Russians were against the war.
