The Women’s US Open final will take place on Saturday followed by Men’s final on Sunday.
Wimbledon finalist Ons Jabeur halted Caroline Garcia’s dream US Open run. After winning Cincinnati WTA 1000 as a qualifier, Garcia consolidated as she defeated 2 seeded players en route to the semifinals. That included a win against American Coco Gauff in straight sets. Ons Jabeur however, was too challenging for her as she went down after a little more than an hour.

Ons Jabeur converted 4/4 of break point opportunities and breezed through Garcia’s serves. The latter was not able to find any such opportunities. Jabeur will look forward to leaving behind the defeat against Elena Rybakina in Wimbledon final and winning her maiden Grand Slam title here in New York.
Ons Jabeur is also the first North African, Arab, and Tunisian woman to enter US Open final.
Iga Swiatek comes back from a set and breaks down in both sets
Top seed and World No. 1 defeated Aryna Sabalenka after being a set down and trailing behind in the 2nd and the 3rd set. Roland Garros champion Iga Swiatek came back in the final set at 4-2 and won 4 consecutive games to cement her place in the final. She converted 7/10 opportunities of the break as compared to 5/10 from Sabalenka.

6th seed Aryna Sabalenka, who was banned from participating in Wimbledon played good tennis en route to the semifinal. She defeated Karolina Pliskova in the quarterfinals and Australian Open finalist Danielle Collins in the round of 16.
2-time Roland Garros champion Iga Swiatek will play her first US Open and will look forward to winning a slam outside of clay for the first time. The final will take place between the two most dominant and consistent players on tour.
