On Wednesday night, Imran Khan in his Twitter rally interacted with almost half a million users globally. His address on the night of April 20th was also streamed live on other platforms like Instagram and Facebook.
PTI supporters gathered in thousands to give their regards to the former Prime Minister. Imran Khan was happily surprised to see the massive support trickling into his stream through the concern of these supporters.
Addressing a question from a user about an impending threat at the Lahore rally to his life, he said he would be attending it no matter what happened.
Army’s role
Imran in his Twitter rally also urged his supporters to ignore the allegations by PML-N. The accusation of using bots to trend the anti-state campaigns run by social activists. He added that they owe their survival to the army and they shouldn’t say anything against them.

During the live stream, a user asked about the media being against the government of Imran Khan during his tenure. He disclosed what he had learned a few months ago about journalists and anchors. Apparently, these journalists were receiving foreign offers to run a campaign against their government.
Imran in his Twitter rally, also warned that in the age of social media, the truth and information could not be falsified for long. He also said that after the rally in Lahore, he would start to speak to international media as well.
