Lockdown has changed the way we used to see Traditional movies. Earlier, people used to buy movie tickets and watch movies in theatres, but with the emergence of OTT platforms, users can enjoy Film shows on their electronic devices at a very minimal cost. If that wasn’t the big thing, then the idea of films released in a virtual space may shock people.Â
Since Mark Zuckerberg announcing his home company Facebook as Metaverse, there have been speculations on how this could change the way of living Life. According to many tech giants, Metaverse is the next big thing and is here to stay for quite a long time. Recently we saw a Tamil Nadu Couple announcing their wedding on Metaverse.
Production house Pooja Entertainment recently announced it had acquired virtual land in the Metaverse. The space, titled Poojaverse, will be a virtual area for the makers to create a first-virtual reality-based space for viewers starting with their recently announced project Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.Â
Producer Deepshikha Deshmukh said she is “stoked” to have Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, their most ambitious project, in the Metaverse. If the maker’s plan is successful, this shall be one of the first Indian movies to be released in the virtual space.Â
RRR, Jersey, Kgf 2, and Akshay kumar’s Bacchan Pandey are a few movies that will hit the theatres in March and April.Â
