In its fifth season, Couture Runway Week, the country’s next-largest fashion trade show, was hosted at the Welcomhotel by ITC in Dwarka, New Delhi. IIFD Chandigarh provided CRW with assistance.
What is Couture Runway?
It is one of the highlights of the fashion years and always a pleasure for upcoming and established artists to showcase their art and talent in front of a diverse but goal-oriented audience. It is just as much of a marketplace as much as it is a fashion show. It is a B2B Marketplace to let the featured artists display their collection, and interested buyers can make a purchase or partnership.
The best fashion trade export in India, Couture Runway Week (CRW), provides a forum for emerging designers to present their collections to an international audience.
Over 50 New Generation and Next Generation designers had collections displayed at CRW.
It was a two days fashion celebration that housed designers from all across India.
Designers On Display:
Seema Kashyap’s collection was stunning and added more glamour with the showstopper Bollywood actress Ishita Dutta. She was last seen in the recent release of Drishyam 2.
Seem Kahyap showcased her collection COCKTAIL
The event’s grand finale designer Varija Bajaj showcased her collection OFFICE and YOU.
Saunderya Malhotra’s Label HER COLORS OF RAINBOW was a pictorial representation of women in recent times. It was full of rainbow shades and fitted silhouettes with admirable necklines. Its objective was to display modern women’s desires.
A beautiful collection of Sarees was on display by Designer Beena namely ABIRA.
Kirti presented a collection inspired by an amalgamation of cultures and ethnic traditions across the globe. The blend was nothing short of modern art.
Designer Amin Farista was with showstopper Lawyer plus Super Model Nisha Yadav for the collection GANDHIAN FAB. Neha and Vinisha Rao Couture of the Fashion Club also showcased their styles
Beautiful wedding collection by Tehhzeeb Couture show opened and closed by top influencers, Vastram Design Studio, Sara Miraaz Khan, Alice 18, Salvaged who made an amazing collection out of used sarees, and Silai by Bharti Mittal with show opener Nisha Yadav and showstopper Saumya Bhandari of splitsville fame.
Day 1 Wrapped with Glitters and Glam
The day 1 finale was done by designer Ravi Rajoria. Delhi Film Academy (DFA) is a sponsor of Couture Runway Week and one of the official media partners. Pressto served as the official wardrobe maintenance partner, while Xene Jewelers provided special jewellery as gifts throughout the event.
The Front Row and SG Model Management are talent partners. Lakme Academy was the makeup partner, while Rebanta Academy was the design partner.
Anjali Panjiyara Makeovers, Vandana SahayVerma, and Tanu Bakshi Makeovers provided special assistance.

If, as they say, you can make it happen in New Delhi, you can do it anywhere”. And that was the wrap up of day 1 of Couture Runway.
