Guinness World Records (GRW) acknowledged the day’s overwhelming gloom and formally declared Monday to be the worst day of the week on Twitter.
If you have a regular nine-to-five job, it’s likely that you dislike Mondays, especially after a fun-filled weekend. It seems like a humongous task to resume work mode at 9 a.m. on a Monday since the weekend vibes tend to stay with us a little longer. As a result, Mondays have the bad reputation of being the most despised day by many people.
It’s that day of the week when you ignore the grating alarm and stay in bed until you’re late, forcing you to rush through breakfast since, after a great, peaceful weekend, you have no real desire to go to work, school, or college.
More than 10,000 people have retweeted the tweet, which already has 78,000 likes. The Twittersphere also left some extremely witty comments, and, surprise, practically everyone supports the honor.
Twitter users rejoiced that this was finally acknowledged. Angry Birds Red’s official page responded to GWR’s tweet with the words “Took you long enough.” “Ikr (I Know Right),” GWR replied.
Twitter literally stormed after this long-due relief, and the responses from around the world were a sight to behold. A user said, “I take Mondays off, especially for this reason.” -GWR called him “smart.”
A user wrote, “To get the whole week on track, its important to get your Monday right.”
Many influencers and celebrities continue to upload stuff to cheer up their fans on Mondays and hold off the sarcastic backlash with the caption “Monday Blues.”
Every year, the Guinness Book of Records is released, containing world records for both human accomplishments and the extremes of nature.
With offices in London, New York, Beijing, Tokyo, and Dubai, 143 million copies have been sold to date, and Guinness World Records is now a renowned global brand.
Of course, if you are a Garfield fan, this won’t be a new thing for you, because we have always hated Mondays, just like our beloved orange-furred cat.
