Shyama Prasad Mukharji Rurban.
Shyama Prasad Mukharji Rurban Mission (SPMRM) has been working to facilitate economic growth, enhance basic services, and create a well-planned structure to reduce unemployment and poverty in rural areas since 2016. The prime outcome stimulated by this is to bridge the urban-rural divide. The state administration works to implement all the schemes with the proper framework for implementation prepared by the Ministry of Rural Development. They have a vision for the future to benefit every individual and family in the village from the Rurban mission. For this purpose, “rural areas” refers to a union of 15 to 20 villages having about a 30–40 lakh population. The union should be a gram panchayat of 25 to 50 thousand in plain and coastal areas and a population of 50 to 150 thousand in hilly, desert, and tribal areas.
