AICC General Secretary in charge K.C. Venugopal said that Rajasthan will have its new Chief Minister soon.
After many visits from both Delhi and Rajasthan and scheduling many meetings between the AICC officials from both states the General Secretary of AICC of Rajasthan Mr. K.C. Venugopal stated that Rajasthan will have a new CM (Chief Minister), he even said that there will be no kind of drama, the confusion will be solved within a day or two and the people of Rajasthan will come to know who will be their new CM.
On Wednesday as he arrived in Delhi, the CM of Rajasthan Mr. Ashok Gehlot said to the reporters that they work under the congress chief and the party is a disciplined political party. Decisions will be taken when the time arrives, they even said that they worry about the authors and the journalists because they are being called anti-nationalist and are being jailed for that reason Rahul Gandhi is taking yatra out for them. The internal politics will go on and they are resolving it.
The nominations of the AICC selection will be closed on Friday but still, there have been no announcements on the leadership’s official choice.
Whereas Ashok Gehlot’s nomination was declared a few days ago but it was boycotted by a few MLAs of the legislative party in a meeting and they called to find his successor.
There are many veteran congresspeople who all are still doing rounds like Mallikarjun Kharge, MP Congress chief Kamal Nath, Miera Kumar, Mukul Wasnik, Kumari Selja, Ambika Soni, and Pawan Kumar Soni. As per the PTI report, a person close to Kharge will file his nomination papers if it is directed by the Congress Chief.
As said Gehlot’s residence is said to be the hub of meetings where all the meetings happened behind closed doors before, they left for the capital with persons like Speaker C.P Joshi, state unit chief Govind Singh Dotasra, and ministers like Shanti Dhariwal, Mahesh Joshi and Pratap Singh Khachariyawas.
