On May 16th (Monday) The Kannada actress suffered complications After undergoing a ‘Fat-free’ plastic surgery. As a result of the complication, fluid began to accumulate in her lungs resulting in her death.
The parents are putting the hospital and the doctors at negligence as the complication would have not arrived if they would have been more cautious with their procedure. She got her plastic surgery at Shetty cosmetic center at Rajaji Nagar in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Chethana Raj was popularly known in the Kannada industry for her roles in daily.
Although the surgery did not go as planned. the doctors who performed the surgery brought her to kaade hospital at 5:30 As she had suffered from a cardiac arrest.
Even after giving her CPR for around 45 minutes, she could not be revived, doctor Sandeep who was the ICU intensivist put a complaint at the police station. “Kannada actress Chethana passes away”
The doctors at kaade hospital said in the police report that at around 5:30 PM one doctor named Melvin who is an anesthetic barged into the hospital with a patient who was unresponsive later, disregarding all the protocols of the hospital he barged into the ICU and told the other doctors to treat the patient as they were in cardiac arrest at that time.
He further explained that while checking her pulse they found none and on the insistence of doctor Melvin and his team CPR was initiated after trying for approximately 45 minutes the patient could not be revived and was declared dead at 6:45 PM.
The people in Chethana’s life were shocked to hear about her demise as she was too young to be taken away from this world and that too due to the negligence of the doctors that were treating her in the first place.
Her uncle spoke about the incident and says, she has a younger brother and she is a well-known actress in the Kannada TV industry. he also confessed that somebody had told her that she needs to get surgery to reduce her weight as she appears fat. That is the reason why she went to Shetty hospital to remove the excess fat that was in her body.
The hospital is not equipped with an ICU and the surgery was done there but the complication after the surgery was unavoidable as they lack the types of equipment. she was later shifted to another hospital nearby where she was declared dead After having a cardiac arrest.
