Bollywood’s newlyweds Vicky and Katrina, who got married in December last year, officially registered their marriage in the court on Saturday.
After keeping their relationship a secret for a long time, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif tied the knot on December 9, 2021. Katrina Kaif, 38, and Vicky Kaushal, 33, dated each other for almost two years after which they got married in Rajasthan in a private ceremony.
Three months after their wedding, Vicky and Katrina registered their marriage on March 19, 2022, under the Special Marriage Act, 1954 to legalize their marriage. The couple allegedly got their marriage registered in court in the presence of their family members.
On the same day, Vicky and Katrina went to dinner with their family and the pictures of the dinner celebration went viral.A week later, Katrina and Vicky were spotted at Dharma Productions CEO Apoorva Mehta’s birthday party.
The pair looked stunning as they arrived together for the party on Thursday night. The event marked Vicky and Katrina’s first joint appearance after the wedding. The couple makes sure to treat their fans with their soulful posts, expressing their love for each other.
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are one of the most loved couples of Bollywood. After their lovely wedding, the couple went to a secret beach where they enjoyed their honeymoon and then returned to begin working on their respective projects. After marriage, Katrina followed the Indian tradition of preparing the first sweet for her husband and in-laws.
She also celebrated her first Holi with her in-laws. So, it seems Katrina is enjoying her married life. Though she was born and raised in the western culture, she is trying her best to become a Panjabi ‘Bahu’. Her efforts are clearly visible as she is learning to cook Punjabi food and trying to adapt to Punjabi culture.
Their Upcoming Projects
Vicky and Katrina are now seen focussing back on their work after their long honeymoon vacation. On 13th December, Vicky shared a selfie during the shoot. He is set to star in Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur, a biopic of Indian war hero Sam Manekshaw. The film recently added Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sania Malhotra to its cast.
Also, Vicky is linked to another film Govinda Naam Mera, a comedy co-starring Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar and produced by Dharma Productions. He also resumed his shooting for Laxman Utekar’s rom-com with Sara Ali Khan.On other hand, Katrina Kaif also started shooting for a new film post her wedding in Rajasthan.
In terms of work, Katrina Kaif was last seen in Sooryavanshi opposite Akshay Kumar. The film was released in theaters and crossed the ₹100 crore mark in almost a week. The actress has two films lined up – one of them is Tiger 3 with Salman Khan, and the other is Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara, starring Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt.
According to reports, in Jee Le Zara, Vicky Kaushal will be seen as the male lead along with his wife Katrina Kaif. But the report is not finally confirmed yet. There is a buzz that Katrina has signed Sriram Raghavan’s next film with South Star Vijay Sethupathi. The film revolves around the events that happened on a Christmas night. Shriram may announce the film soon.
Everyone loves the sight of the newlyweds together as they look very cute together. All their fans are expecting to see them together on the big silver screen and the chemistry between them. So, we all wish them a very happy married life and hope to see more of them together both on and off-screen.
