AAP has alleged that BJP is trying to kill Kejriwal after the landslide victory in Punjab. The Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia stated on Tuesday that BJP is trying to kill Kejriwal after the loss in Punjab’s assembly elections since they were unable to defeat them in the count of votes.
He was speaking at a press conference after the Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), the Bhartiya Janata Party’s (BJP’s youth) wing, staged a protest at Kejriwal’s residence during which CCTV cameras, vehicles, gates and barriers were all caused harm by the protestors.
“The BJP now wants to murder Arvind Kejriwal after failing to defeat him in the Punjab elections. Attack on the chief minister’s apartment today implies that BJP, with the help of police, is attempting to kill Kejriwal.“We will issue a proper complaint in response to this,” said Manish Sisodia. He claimed that Kejriwal’s “life-threatening protest” was “well-planned.”
After Kejriwal’s controversial remarks on ‘The Kashmir Files,’ there have been several protests regarding the same all asking for a non-conditional apology from him. One such protest led by Tejaswi Surya leader of BJYM outside Kejriwal’s home went a step ahead and turned a bit violent which resulted in Tejaswi’s arrest.
The BJYM activists, led by its president Tejasvi Surya, staged a protest near Kejriwal’s home in Civil Lines here, demanding an apology from him for disrespecting Kashmiri Pandits, where AAP allegedly tried to make the protest violent and vandalize it.
The BJYM, according to Surya, would continue to protest till Kejriwal apologizes unconditionally for “mocking” Kashmiri Pandits. He made the remarks while speaking at a press conference at the BJP’s national headquarters in New Delhi, alongside BJYM’s national secretary and Lok Sabha member Raju Bista.
According to Surya, “In terms of politics, Kejriwal is a regular culprit, and his political escapades are usually at the expense of the nation. AAP has questioned the loyalty and integrity of security personnel on numerous occasions, and he has made it abundantly clear on numerous occasions that his and AAP policy is always in favour of terrorists and never in favour of terror victims.”
