Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand Skims has launched an adaptive collection. This collection is available for all kinds of body types as it comes in different sizes.
This collection aims at addressing the need and inaccessibility of wear which adapt to all sorts of body types. This collection includes bralettes and briefs with easy body mobility. The technology used is ultra-lightweight and micro bonded technology for the closures to mould to the body and not dig in to ensure no visibility underneath clothing.
To promote the collection, the brand has collaborated with American Paralympic track and field athlete Scout Bassete. Talking about the collection she said, “When I tried these super-soft pieces, the hook and eye closures made getting dressed and styling my everyday outfits so much easier.”
She further stated that “It’s my goal to create a more equitable and accessible world for everybody, so I love working with a brand that continues to evolve and design creative solutions with the same ethos in mind.”
Apart from Bralette and Briefs, it includes the brand’s other signature styles like Thongs and Boy Shorts. The wears come in colours like Cocoa, Onyx, Clay and Sienna. The sizes available are XXS-4X and prices range from 18 pounds for a thong to 32 pounds for a bralette.
