On March 25, it was confirmed that Kim Sejeong would be starring in the upcoming SBS drama “Today’s Webtoon.” It is scheduled to air by the end of this year.
It is a Korean remake of the popular 2016 Japanese drama “Sleepeeer Hit”. The drama tells the storey of a former judo athlete who takes on the job of working in Webtoon editorial department and struggles to establish herself in the world of Webtoons as an editor.
Kim Sejeong will play the character of rookie contract employee OM MA EUM. She embarks on her journey after she had to quit her athletic career following a tear in her ankle ligament. Her fresh start is inspired when she coincidentally delivers food to the webtoon editorial department. She is an employee who has a positive attitude despite facing many adversities.
Currently, Kim Sejeong is captivating audiences’ hearts through her hit SBS drama “Business Proposal”. Her role as Shin Ha Ri is well liked by the audience. Her chemistry with co-star Ahn Hyo Seop is the talk of the town. The ratings for the drama are increasing with every
episode, as only four episodes are left. According to Nielsen Korea, the March 22 broadcast of SBS’s “A Business Proposal” recorded an average nationwide rating of 10.8 percent. The drama is expected to conclude on a good note.
