Two Dalit girls were raped and hung from a tree in Lakhimpur; the perpetrator is currently in custody.
Six suspects were arrested on Thursday in rape case , one day after the deaths of two Dalit sisters were discovered in the Nighasan police station area of the Lakhimpur Kheri region of Uttar Pradesh. Sanjeev Suman, the SP of Lakhimpur Kheri, announced the arrest at a press conference.
