There was an operation launched in the Tangdhar sector, Kashmir at the night on Tuesday and Wednesday. The process managed to kill Lashkar terror after the inflation failed in Kashmir’s Kupwara. This operation was a joint operation conducted on Tuesday and Wednesday
The Incident explained
As per the defense spokesperson, in the Kupwara district of Kashmir, terrorists of Lashkar- e-Taiba were killed on their own, on Wednesday. This happened due to the security forces foiling an infiltration bid in the line of control in the Kupwara district of Kashmir.
The operation commenced in the Taangdharsecotr on the night of Tuesday and Wednesday. The terrorist who was killed was later identified to be Mohammad Shakur (32) who was from Syedpur, Pakistan occupying Kashmir (PoK), as per the sources who identified the body.
What was the reason behind doing the joint operation?
The joint operation was launched as a result of information received from the police. The information was regarding the infiltration of Lashkar-e -Taiba (LeT) terrorists. The message came through the Satpura post in the karnal area of the Kupwara district in Kashmir. The results were in collaboration with the intelligence sources and added sources.
It is also believed that all the anti-infiltration terrorists were trying to move into their own Indian side amidst the darkness. They were also a step closer to the Line of Control (LoC)
What did the authorities say?
One of the persons in authority said, “ Around 1:45 am on October 26, 2022, the infiltration terrorists were fired upon, leading to the elimination of one terrorist. However, taking advantage of the darkness, the other terrorist fled to the PoK”.
In the whole incident, 1 AK series rifle was found. Also, 2 pistols, a lot of ammunition, and war-like stores were recovered, as of now. According to all the findings, the necessary actions have been taken so far. All the policemen and coordinators have been in coordination with the Jammu and Kashmir police and other Intelligence agencies. The foiling of the infiltration attempt, a potential threat to the peace was led by the officials present at the moment.
As per the authority, Continued engagements along the Line of Control are uncanny reminders of efforts by Pakistan to infuse terrorism in Kashmir and disrupt peace and harmony while putting on the façade of ceasefire understanding.”
What further?
Since the last 3 decades, the youth of PoK have been used as a cannon folder by the Pakistan state policy. This is not giving any aim to them (the youths). The aimless fruit is giving a constant disruption to the peace as a whole, said one of the authorities.
This type of operation may take place again as and when the messages are received from the other end.
