Poor United defense saw their deficit double in just 8 minutes. David de Gea’s poor pass to ex-Brentford player Eriksen was spoiled by Mathias Jensen. Jensen used brilliant technique to send the United player the other way and scored an easy goal. It was a typical lackadaisical defense.
Poor defense and goalkeeping from United cost them
Manchester United’s hopes of a comeback were crushed completely when Ben Mee outbattled Lisandro Martinez and scored a header at the halfway mark. The standstill United defense saw another set piece go past them to the back of the net. It was a complete horror show.
As if that wasn’t enough, Thomas Frank’s side added to United’s misery just 5 minutes later. A perfectly executed counter-attack that came from a United corner saw Ivan Toney pass to Bryan Mbeumo who beat David de Gea easily to put the ball in the net again.

It is going to be a tough month for Manchester United as they are now preparing to face their arch-rivals, Liverpool. If they continue to play like this, it won’t come as a surprise that they lose again. Last season Liverpool put 9 goals past Manchester United, and it isn’t looking good again.
