In the latest tweet, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia wrote, “From the year 2017 to 2022, Congress ruled Punjab. The home minister, Amit Shah, didn’t take away Chandigarh’s powers then. As soon as the Aadmi party formed a government in Punjab, the home minister took away Chandigarh services.
They are scared of us and the services we offer in our government. Shrimani Akali dal also objected to the decision of the Bhartiya Janta party, stating it as “Anti-Punjab”. Akali Dal senior spokesperson said “The decision to impose central government rules on employees of Chandigarh is a violation of the Punjab reorganisation act and must be considered.”
Amit Shah said, “This decision is going to benefit the employees in a big way. The retirement age will also be enhanced from 58 to 60 years. Those who are in the field of education will retire at 65. Teachers will also be entitled to get the child education allowance. “
Amit Shah said that women employees will get child care and maternity leave for up to two years.”
