Mob Psycho 100 III is almost at its end, with two episodes left, and we haven’t seen much action from Mob yet. This season had it all: fun, family, friends, and school, with the exception of Mobs Rage, which we all eagerly await, don’t we? But in this episode, we get to see more than rage; we’re not sure if it’s Mob or a monster that woke from death, but it’s crazy. Let’s discuss.
Review of Mob Psycho 100 III, Episode 10Â
The last episode ended with a horrific scene when Mob was on his way to declare his love for his childhood crush, Tsubomi. That’s when Mob got hit by a car while saving a kid and was badly bleeding, which is unusual for Mob. He is the strongest esper we know, so he obviously cannot die that easily. And when we initially thought Mob had been critically hurt, we were all wrong; instead, it basically elevated the esper inside him to its peak point and triggered him to meet Tsubomi no matter what.
We already know Mob’s motto that he wouldn’t use his psychic abilities unless absolutely necessary. And after seeing Mob like that, we know now what happens when he lets his power take control over his body—he becomes a monster. He totally wiped everything out on his way to the park to meet Tsubomi while holding the flowers in his hands. The look on his face already creeps everyone out. Mob has always tried to make people better and abstained from violence, but he has become someone we haven’t seen in the whole story of Mob Psycho.

That’s when Teruki appears to stop him, and this fight reminds us of the first battle between them. Teru has definitely changed as a result of Mob, and seeing him like that has led Teru to believe that he is not in his conscious state, as he would never choose destruction over anything else. The battle was epic, as we always wait for Mob to reach his 100% rage, but in this fight, we got to know more about Teru and how powerful he has become to call Mob his “Rival”.
Mob came to his senses after listening to Teru’s words but was unable to control his body. Teru did his best to save the people who hadn’t already evacuated while struggling to stand on his feet after Mob’s powerful attacks. Teru’s tremendous defense has left us calling him the hero of the episode. This battle between friends was not something we wanted, but the action and direction were the best so far, and it was needed to wrap up the season.
Whenever Mob wakes up, he’s probably going to be filled with sorrow and guilt, but before that, we are about to witness an epic battle, which we will see in the next episode, and hopefully everything ends on a good note.
Verdict
Episode 10 of Mob Psycho 100 season 3 was amazing because we were anticipating something similar before the season ends. Teruki and Mob’s friendship is the best and definitely should be regarded as rivals because their history with each other is the most captivating of any character.
