Mumbai Indians seems keen to sign Ishan Kishan at any cost after Hyderabad comes in the bidding race, and Kishan has breached the price of 15Crore mark. Mumbai Indians finally re-signed Ishan Kishan for a whopping amount of 15.25cr, the highest auctioned price in the IPL 2022.
Sunrisers of Hyderabad secured Nicholas Pooran for Rs 10.75 crore. The second most expensive player in the bidding was Shreyas Iyer, with Rs 12.25 crore by Kolkata Knight Riders.Â
Meanwhile, two new teams Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans will participate in the 2022 auction. These two teams had been given to retain a maximum of four of their existing players.Â
