February 17 marked Raveena Tandon’s late father, Ravi Tandon’s 87th birthday. Remembering her dad, just a few minutes back, Raveena shared a family picture on her official social media handle and enclosed it with an emotional note along with it. Raveena perfectly caption it, “HappyBirthday Papa. My life will never be the same again. You will always be the apple of my eye. Cheers!” from her post, we can get to know how much she is missing her father.
Raveena Tandon has shared pictures with her father to mark his first birth anniversary after his demise. Raveena’s father, veteran filmmaker Ravi Tandon, died on February 11 last week; the actress shared this unfortunate news on official social media.
Many celebrities, including Neelam Kothari, Juhi Chawla, and others, dropped condolence messages. In the comment section, fans paid their last tributes – Raveena had performed the last rites.
The pictures shared are from Ravi’s birthday celebrations from last year. One of them showed the entire family posing for a group picture, while another one had Ravi eating a piece of cake as one of his grandkids fed him. Raveena also posted a few pictures of herself with her father. We can see that the photographs were clicked when the corona pandemic was at its peak, as the actress was wearing the mask.
After his death, Raveena had written, “My father returned to his heavenly abode this morning. He was a pillar of strength to my family and me. We are grateful for all your condolences, warmth, and support as we go through this tough time.
Raveena Tandon shared an open letter on her social media, Dedicated to her father. The actor mentioned how she could still feel her father close to her heart in the letter. She wrote, “I do not hold you in my arms and press you close to my heart, yet feel these things.
When you are hurt, I feel your pain, when you sorrow, I share your tears, and when you laugh there is joy in me. All the things you were once part of me – your blood, your bones, your flesh. You are part of the dream I was that still remains.
You are the proof that once I moved and walked the earth. You are my legacy to the world, the most precious that I could borrow. All the values are as nothing when compared with you.”
On February 11, Raveena shared numerous pictures with her late father as she shared the devastating news. The photos reflected the incredible bond the father-daughter duo shared. With the post, Raveena wrote, “You will always walk with me, I will always be you, I’m never letting go.
Love you, papa.” Neelam Kothari wrote, “Heartfelt condolence.” Juhi Chawla also offered condolences and said, “Heartfelt condolences to you & your family Raveena.. May his soul rest in peace. Om Shanti.
Ravi Tandon (father of Raveena Tandon ) died on February 11 at his Juhu residence in Mumbai. He suffered age-related ailments, lung fibrosis, and respiratory failure; he was born in a Punjabi Family in Agra.
Ravi had directed many actors, namely Rajesh Khanna, Sridevi, and Smita Patil’s Nazrana, and helmed Khel Khel Mein, who starred Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor and directed Sanjeev Kumar’s Anhonee. He also worked with Amitabh Bachchan in the film Majboor.
Raveena was recently seen in a crime drama’ Aranyak, released on Netflix. The actress recently finished dubbing for her part in the movie and thanked the team, including South star Yash. The actress’s upcoming project will be ‘K.G.F. Chapter-2’.
