A list of New August Release on the OTT Platform are:
1. Rise of the teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ( Netflix – Aug 5 )
The film is based on the animated television series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and resurrects the Ninja Turtles as they embark on a brand-new mission after a mysterious visitor from the future enlightens them about the dangerous extraterrestrial species known as Krang!
2. House of Dragon ( Disney +Hotstar – Aug 21 )
‘The House of the Dragon’ prequel to Game of Thrones has finally been released on Disney+ Hotstar this week, ending the wait.
The television series, which is based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” takes place 200 years ago and introduces us to how the Targaryen family came to rule. Paddy Considine, Emma D’Arcy, Matt Smith, Milly Alcock, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, and Rhys Ifans will all play significant parts in the HBO original.
3. Criminal Justice S3 ( Disney +Hotstar – Aug 26 )
The latest season is focused on the juvenile justice and jail system. Madhav Mishra returns with his wit and humor in the third season of the crime thriller. The latest season will make you question who is innocent and who is guilty.Â
4. Delhi Crime S2 ( Netflix– Aug 26 )
The International Emmy-winning series returns with a new season. DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, Neeti Singh, and Bhupendra Singh will be seen investigating another complex case. With heinous crimes occurring in the city, the series once again digs deeper into the dark world. Delhi Crime Season 2 features Shefali Shah, Rasika Duggal, and Rajesh Tailang.
5. Duranga ( Zee5 – Aug 19 )
The popular Korean drama Flower of Evil is being remade for this series. Along with other actors, it features Gulshan Devaiah, Divya Sheth, Rajesh Khattar, and Drashti Dhami. It is a thriller and will air on Zee5. The television show will depict Ira’s discovery of her spouse Summit’s truth, as well as her investigation of a murder.
6. Orphan First Kiss ( Book My Show – Aug 19 )
William Brent Bell is the director of the horror film, which serves as a prequel to Orphan from 2009. Leena Klammer breaks out of an Estonian mental hospital by posing as Esther, an affluent family’s missing daughter who has been missing for some time. She is now opposed to mothers who would do anything to defend their children.
7. Aurora Teagarden Mysteries ( Mx Player – Aug 17 )
In the Real Murders Club, librarian Aurora Teagarden and her friends investigate homicides. The fictional character created by author Charlaine Harris is the inspiration for the TV show.
8. Glow Up S4 ( Netflix – Aug 19 )
In the reality program, ambitious makeup artists collaborate and compete to showcase their greatest creations. The winner will get the chance to work with major players in the market.
9. Maharani S2 (SonyLIV – Aug 25 )
In this fictional tale, Rani Bharti, the wife of Bihar’s chief minister, Bheema, works at home. She just considers her home and her husband. After her husband steps down from his position as Bihar’s CM, she wants to grab her belongings and return to the village.
But when her husband, the CM of Bihar, is forced to reveal the identity of his successor, her life takes an unexpected turn. His party members appear eager to learn who has been chosen, but he unexpectedly names Rani as his replacement, shocking everyone.
